Ms. Pat Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Jill Scott wowed Tuscaloosa
Despite the uncertainty of the weather, I really appreciate Ms. Pat showing up. The poet/rapper, the opening act, was much better than I had expected. Her vocal quality and deliverance were outstanding on point as usual. I was very pleased to have a complete show since the last time I attempted to see her live was at an Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, but her set was cut short to make time for the queen of Essence, Mary J. Her band and background singers are awesome, a great combination. She was knowledgeable about current events and pulled the audience into her scenes.
